Subtitle Translation
What does TranscriBridge SRT do?
TranscriBridge SRT translates existing .srt subtitle files into another language. It is designed for people who already have subtitle files and do not need a fresh transcription pass.
Does it preserve subtitle timing?
Yes. The subtitle timing stays locked to the original file structure. The translation changes the subtitle text while keeping the timing format intact so the translated .srt remains usable in players and editors.
What file format does it support?
TranscriBridge SRT is intentionally narrow. It accepts .srt input and returns .srt output.
Credits
How are subtitle characters counted?
Only subtitle text is counted. Timestamps, sequence numbers, and formatting are not charged. That means you usually get more real subtitle translation out of a character pack than a raw file size estimate would suggest.
Do paid subtitle credits expire?
No. Paid SRT translation characters do not expire. The free monthly allowance resets each month, but purchased characters stay on the account until you use them.
How much subtitle text is in a typical file?
A 2-hour film often falls around 40,000 to 60,000 subtitle text characters. TV episodes and shorter online videos use much less. The free monthly allowance is enough to test translation quality before you buy more.
Account and Workflow
Do I need to create an account?
Yes. Sign in with email/password or Google to use the translator, track balances, review notifications, and manage purchases.
Can I also transcribe audio or video here?
No. This site is focused on online SRT translation only. If you want to upload audio or video and generate subtitles from scratch, use the main TranscriBridge site.
Can I embed the translated subtitle file into a video?
Yes. After translating the .srt, you can use the free Windows TranscriBridge Muxer app to combine the subtitle file with a video.
